Scenic’s Chef Tom Goetter
Chef Tom started his cooking career at Hyatt Hotels in his hometown of Mainz, Germany, followed by Steinberger Academy in southern Germany, where he obtained his master’s in culinary arts, graduating with honors. He trained under Thomas Keller and his team in the Napa Valley.
A finalist in the first season of Top Chef Germany, Chef Tom was invited to compete in the Top Chef World All Stars. In 2019, he joined the newly launched Scenic Eclipse as the Executive Chef and today is the Vice President of Oceans Hotel Operations for Scenic Group, overseeing the entire culinary program for both Scenic Discovery Yachts and Emerald Yacht Cruises.

Meet Chef Gabriel Rodriguez
Born and raised in Mexico City, Gabriel Rodriguez worked his way up the ranks in the kitchen after starting as a dishwasher at Pujol, one of the best restaurants in the world. After traveling south to explore the country’s unique cuisine, he was presented with the opportunity to work as a Sous Chef for Eduardo Garcia at Maximo’s Bistrot in CDMX. With the support of Eduardo Garcia, he competed and won the second season of “Top Chef Mexico.” He then moved to Mazatlán where he had the chance to develop his own cooking style, experimenting with different flavors. He prides himself on his technique, cooking with local Mexican ingredients and spices. While in Mazatlán, he served as the Executive Chef at fine-dining favorite Presidio. Ready for a change, he recently moved to Madrid, Spain to be a private chef.

Meet Chef Begoña Rodrigo
Born in Valencia, Begoña Rodrigo is a self-taught chef who entered the world of cuisine in a non-traditional way. After studying industrial engineering, she moved to Amsterdam at the age of 20 in search of new experiences. She began cooking in 1995 at the Amsterdam Marriott Hotel under the guidance of Nick Reade, spending eight years in the Netherlands while travelling the world in search of new flavors.
In 2003, she moved to London, where she worked at Aquarium. Two years later, she returned to her hometown and, after a few months at "La Sucursal" (1* Michelin), opened her first restaurant, LA SALITA, in November 2005. Since 2019, the restaurant has held one Michelin Star, has been awarded three Repsol Suns, and features in some of the world’s top culinary rankings.
Her exceptional approach to working with vegetables earned her the title of Best Vegetable Chef in the World 2024 by the We’re Smart Guide. Frequently featured in major publications, Begoña’s work at the helm of LA SALITA has made her a leading voice in the conversation around the social role of gastronomy and its connection to sustainability. Today, the 19th-century manor that houses LA SALITA is also home to other exciting projects by Begoña: Cooktl, the most vibrant cocktail bar in Valencia; El Invernadero, a sustainable, climate-controlled outdoor terrace; and Cookroom, a private dining space for business meetings or events.
