Scenic Discovery Yachts meet in Seville

Vancouver, BC, May 14, 2026 — Scenic Eclipse and Scenic Eclipse II Discovery Yachts met for the first time in Seville, Spain, marking a significant milestone as they cruise in one of the Mediterranean’s most iconic cultural destinations.

Purpose-built for truly all-inclusive ultra-luxury voyages, Scenic Eclipse and Scenic Eclipse II combine sleek design with state-of-the-art technology. Amongst only a few ocean ships which can navigate along the Guadalquivir River into the heart of Seville, Scenic presents guests with an unrivalled arrival experience in this historic city.

Guests on board both Scenic Discovery Yachts marked the occasion with a special celebration featuring speeches from the Captains, and a ceremonial exchange of gifts with Seville port representatives and local dignitaries. The welcome was further enriched by a traditional Flamenco horse presentation, creating a memorable cultural moment unique to the destination.

In the evening, guests attended an exclusive Scenic Enrich event at Casa de Pilatos, one of Seville’s most celebrated landmarks. Surrounded by magnificent Renaissance, Mudéjar and Gothic architecture, the evening showcased the spirit of Andalusia through local gastronomy, music and performance, including flamenco artists and a live opera performance accompanied by piano.

This memorable encounter also celebrated the strong partnership between Scenic and the Port of Seville, reflecting a shared commitment to creating extraordinary guest experiences by showcasing the character and culture of this remarkable destination.
