Cruising along the Mekong in South East Asia, Angela explores Cambodia’s temples and riverside villages, reflects on history and conservation, and discovers Vietnam’s bustling waterways, markets, and traditional crafts.
Down the mighty Danube, she travels through Budapest and Vienna and along Austria’s scenic Wachau Valley, before reaching southern Germany, where charming towns, local delicacies, and centuries of history come alive.
Along the way, in true Angela Rippon style, the seasoned broadcaster, who celebrates her 60th anniversary as a reporter and presenter in 2026, connects with the people, cultures, and traditions that make each river, and their communities, truly unforgettable.
