Meet the Explorers

Dr. Scott Pallett

British Army doctor with dual specialty training in infectious diseases and clinical microbiology. He has academic expertise in AMR associated with areas of conflict and catastrophe, supporting both field research and policy development, and also on immune impacts of arduous exercise, working with the Royal Marines during his PhD studies. Prior to conducting research in polar areas Scott was a Great Britain national athlete and expedition leader, with a particular focus on supporting anti-poaching efforts in Africa.

Bill Kwok

Born in rural Australia, and has lived in some of the world's most vibrant cities, including Melbourne, London, New York, and Washington, D.C. He began his professional journey in private banking before pursuing his passion for food, becoming a qualified chef and running his own restaurant. An avid traveller, Bill has explored over 40 countries and combines his love of adventure with a hands-on approach to engineering, winter sports, building and racing his own cars and motorcycles.
